Shopping and Placing an Order

1. Does PrimeTimeButcher.com have a minimum?

Yes. Customers must place a minimum order of $50, not including shipping.

2. How do I place an order?

Simply sign up or visit as a guest. Browse our different departments or use Search Box for selected items. Select the quantity and options you want and add items to your shopping cart ($50.00 minimum). When you finish shopping, click on Checkout to complete the checkout process. Select delivery method. Input credit card information. Click Submit to place your order. Your transaction is now complete. You will receive an email confirmation that your order has been received and the selected delivery date. Once the order is shipped, you will receive a second email with your order tracking information. Thank you for shopping at PrimeTimeButcher.com.

3. How do I know when my order has been shipped?

Your second e-mail confirms that your order has been shipped and contains your UPS tracking number. As a member of PrimeTimeButcher.com you may sign in to review your order history.

4. How do I track my order?

Members may easily check their order history and tracking information by signing in to the PrimeTimeButcher.com website or clicking on the link from their shipping confirmation email. Guest users may click the link in their shipping confirmation e-mail or use their tracking number on the UPS website.

5. When is my credit card processed?

Your credit card with be charged when your order is placed. This process is timed to prevent Internet credit card fraud.

6. Does PrimeTimeButcher.com backorder items?

We only backorder items to maintain the highest of standards. On very rare occasions, we may not be able to ship immediately. If this occurs we will inform you of the status of your order and availability.

7. Can I order by phone or fax?

At the present time, we only accept orders online.

8. How do I solve checkout or website problems?

9. Can I change or cancel my order?

You can change or cancel any order within 24 hours of when it was placed, excluding expedited orders. To view your order status, log in or Click Here. If you wish to cancel or change an order, please complete the Customer Service Form on the Contact Us page or call Customer Service at 1-800-290-7786. Please be advised you cannot cancel an order once it has been prepared for shipping. 10. Does PrimeTimeButcher.com substitute items?

No. Substitutions are never made. If we cannot fulfill your request, a Customer Service Representative will contact you.

11. How will my order be cut?

Our professional butchers hand-cut every item the old-fashioned way to your specifications. Your order is then flash frozen to lock in flavor.

12. Do you sell your marinades?

At the present time, we only offer marinades with selected items.

Packing and Shipping

1. How is the order packed for shipping?

Every order is custom cut to your specifications, vacuum sealed, flash frozen and packed with dry ice or gel packs in an extra thick fully insulated cooler for shipping.

2. What is flash freezing?

Flash freezing is a revolutionary process that locks in all the great flavors, juices, vitamins and minerals. Freezing with this technique essentially stops time. This process ensures that products maintain their peak quality, freshness and flavor and arrive in optimum condition.

3. Can I ship my order anywhere?

We do not ship to PO, APO, FPO boxes or any international addresses at this time. We currently ship only to the continental United States. However, we can ship to Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Alaska for an additional shipping cost.

4. Why do we use flat-rate shipping?

Flat-rate shipping prices benefit the vast majority of our customers. Shipping cost is based on the number of items you order, package weight and distance from our warehouse.

5. What days can I select for delivery?

Depending on the date and time that your order is placed, you can schedule a delivery Wednesday through Friday. Additional costs are necessary ensure that your package arrives on the date selected. Consult the chart below for deadlines. Please note: During holiday seasons, certain shipping restrictions are placed on us by our carriers

6. If no one is home to receive my delivery, will UPS leave the package?

Private Residential Shipments: If you select the option, “package may be left at door without signature,” UPS carriers are instructed to leave your package without a signature unless the drop location is deemed unsafe by the driver. Apartment Shipments: If you are shipping to an apartment building, UPS will not leave your package in a common hallway, but will release it to a superintendent or doorman. Other Location Shipments: If you are shipping to an office building, a signature is required for delivery. We make every attempt to leave your package at the location you request.

7. Can I require a signature for shipment?

To guarantee that a delivery arrives at a specific location and is signed for by an authorized individual, select “Signature Required”. If you choose this option SOMEONE MUST BE AT THE DESIGNATED LOCATION TO RECEIVE THE PACKAGE. Please note: UPS charges an additional $3.00 fee for signature service. If no one is available to sign for the package, it will not be left. IT IS PRIMETIMEBUTCHER.COM’S POLICY THAT THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR ORDERS THAT SELECT “SIGNITURE REQUIRED” AND ARE NOT DELIVERED ON DESIGNATED DAY OF SHIPMENT, HELD AT SHIPPER’S WAREHOUSE, RETURNED TO SENDER OR ARE DELIVERED DAMAGED, DUE TO THE ABSENCE OF AN APPROVED SIGNER (18 YEARS OR OVER) AT THE SHIPPING ADDRESS AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY TO SIGN FOR THE SHIPMENT.

8. Can my shipment remain outside until I get home?

We recommended that you do not let your perishable shipment sit outdoors. We suggest you select an alternative shipping address if receipt of shipment is difficult. Our shipping box is designed to keep food frozen for at least 48 hours (including shipping time). It can withstand moderate temperatures outdoors for a limited time period. Special Shipping Instructions: If there are any special instructions for UPS regarding your delivery address, please include them in the special instruction section of the shipping page during checkout.

9. How do I dispose of the dry ice in my shipping cooler?

To dispose of dry ice, please leave it inside the cooler box with lid removed in an outdoor location. Dry ice will evaporate harmlessly in 24 hours. If you need to handle dry ice always wear insulated gloves, safely glasses, a long-sleeved shirt, long pants and shoes.

2. How do credit card payments work?

Your credit card will be charged at the time of your order. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail. This e-mail will be your order receipt. A copy is included in your shipment. Please note: Customers are responsible for any fees resulting from incorrect credit card information or over-the-limit accounts. If you have an expired or invalid card, we cannot process your order.
